Council for A Better Louisiana
CABL was founded in 1962 by a statewide group of business and community leaders to advocate for policies to move Louisiana forward. Historically, its focus has included governmental ethics, economic development, state fiscal policies, and education tied to a stronger workforce. Many of the policies CABL has advocated for have become well-established parts of state law. CABL also runs the widely recognized Leadership Louisiana program, which just celebrated its 30th year with more than 1,300 alumni of the program across all of Louisiana.
